Our behavior modification programs offer advanced levels of support from your trainer so you never feel lost or confused between lessons!

Behavior Modification Programs

    • Unlimited video reviews so you can receive feedback on your training between lessons.

    • Personalized homework for you to reference throughout the week so you can be sure you’re doing everything right.

    • Access to a helper dog for dog reactivity training.

    • Field trips as your dog progresses so you can start to feel confident bringing them into public spaces.

    • Hybrid virtual / in person programs available for dogs with stranger danger.

      • A hybrid virtual / in person program is actually more effective for dogs with stranger danger than strictly in home lessons! A dog with stranger danger will be too stressed to learn with a new person (the trainer) in the home. Therefore, our method at Rose Dog Training focuses on pre-teaching everything you and your dog need to know virtually so when it comes time to do in person lessons everyone is prepared!

Our behavior modification programs are tailored towards dogs who experience intense reactions or anxiety. This includes reactivity towards people, dogs and/or moving objects, aggression directed towards people and/or dogs, predatory behavior towards cats in the home, or intense anxiety.

Our goal for behavior modification training is to give both you and your dog the skills you need in order to successfully navigate the situations that are currently causing these reactions.

Our approach to behavior modification training is to listen to your dog. We want to target your dogs underlying emotions and make them feel better about their world. The behaviors your dog is showing are symptoms of the underlying emotion. By targeting the emotions, we will in turn help resolve your dog’s intense behaviors.

Our behavior modification programs vary based on length of time (1-3 months). During your consultation our trainers will be able to provide guidance for the best option for both you and your dog.
